Xia Ling, an ordinary recent college graduate, receives a strange interview notice while job hunting, leading her astray into Rakshasa Street and encountered danger. Fortunately, she is rescued by Cao Yanbing, a Soul Guardian. However, during their interactions, Cao Yanbing discovers that Xia Ling is not as ordinary as she seems, as she possesses spiritual power and is home to a mysterious guardian spirit. Meanwhile, Xia Ling begins to be hunted by unidentified assassins, and Cao Yanbing is also drawn into the fray. Their fates become intertwined, and behind all this, it seems, lies an even more dangerous secret…
